I discovered Night Flight Orchestra as I was reading up on Soilwork's latest release, "The Living Infinite", which I believe is up there for album of the year...even though it's March.
It appeared that Bjorn "Speed" Strid and David Andersson shared a love for 70's radio rock. They, along with Sharlee D'Angelo (Arch Enemy), Richard Larsson and Jonas Kallsback formed the band and their album, "Internal Affairs" is downright catchy!!!
I am ashamed that I didn't find out about this album until now, but better late than never.
I found that there are influences all over the place in this album which range from Led Zeppelin and Boston, to Fleetwood Mac, Styx and even Electric Light Orchestra.
I would love to see Soilwork play something off of this album....hey...a guy can wish, right?
