It's set to be released in July on VH-1 Classic Records... I have a review in the can, but was asked to wait by their publicist until early to mid June to upload it. It's a good effort, better than Neverland... The cover is different than the import and the bonus tracks will be (for the U.S.) "Sister Christian" and "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" from the Metal Mania Stripped collection...

great. i wanted to buy it but i saw how much it was as an import but heard it was being released in america in mid 2008. i guess since its on vh-1 classic records wal mart will have it? i just saw the cover on their website. it actually looks like a sun with a hole in it. you said its better than neverland, how about better than seven? i feel bad for night ranger though. every time jack blades wants to do something else they get put on the back burner. they had a few albums in the mid to late 90's then jack went off to do a new damn yankees record that never came to be plus did some songwriting for other people with tommy shaw. then he did a solo album plus worked with tommy shaw a lot and did they covers album with him and toured awhile

Side note: Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades are being invited to play at Howard Sterns wedding in October.

It's a close call between Hole In The Sun and Seven. I don't know if you ever bought Feeding Off The Mojo?

I liked that one despite it not really being Night Ranger...
You can still pick that up for about a buck in some places.
I have seen it on ebay for close to nothing...

i've seen feeding off the mojo in stores but refused to buy it because jack blades wasn't on it

Gary Moon was great on that album... Jack's stand in...

i still consider jack to be the main man in night ranger so without him i still wouldn't buy it. maybe i'll see if one of my friends has it and i'll give it a listen. did you like blades recent solo album?

I love the first three Night Ranger albums. Not a bad song on any of them-pure classics in my book. However, None of the albums after that did any thing for me. I tried to like them but just couldn't get into them. It makes me sad because I really like these guys.

does that mean you thought seven was better than neverland?

I like Tommy Shaw. I should check out his solo release. The guy is one of the best harmony vocalists out there (and is a pretty damned good lead vocalist if her wanted to be.) More importantly, He is also one of the best kept secrets on rock music as a guitar player. I have always wondered why he didn't join NR when Watson left.

Too many singers... Like with Damn Weenies...

HEY, I like the Damn Weenies (I supposed you are referring to the Damn Yankees), actually the only guy I didn't like very much in the band was Ted Nugent

That was Ted Nugent "pussified!"

I have never been a fan of the Nugie, but Damn Yankees was a good band with catchy songs, the duo of Blades/Shaw on vocals really gave a great dimension to their sound. Oh well...

Yeah, I have no problem with Damn Yankees either. I thought Ted's solos fucking wailed on the debut album!!! The 2nd one is not too bad either...
