That. Was. Amazing.

Holy shit, Annette sounds soooo good.

:yow::Spin::yow:

Of course there are still going to be some nay-sayers, but that is to be expected. All I hope is that they at least bring part of the visual and pyro show to the US when the come over for the US leg of their world tour. I know i will probably have to Roadtrip to Phoenix, and go to the show with Patrick, but I am willing.

I saw the Imaginaerum show last Saturday in Helsinki. I'm a long-time Nightwish fan, seen more than 10 shows in the past 12 yrs both with Tarja and Anette, at festivals and arenas, but I was stunned by this show, literally. Last time I felt something similar was at the Once-tour opening show in their home-town Kitee back in 2004. Even excellent back then, they never been so good on stage like last Saturday, IMO. All members now so obviously enjoying every minute and having great time. In addition, the new show's production is soooo over the top that even the "masters of fire" aka Rammstein with their arsenal of flamethrowers will be left second by it.

I'm sorry but I'm still one of the naysayers. I like the new album and loved DPP, but I just don't think she's a good live singer. I will say it seems her stage presence and showmanship has improved, but she just seems off to me (or something else I can't put my finger on) live. I'll still continue to buy their albums, but unless I see a major improvement live (or they're on a killer bill), I'm probably done seeing them live.

If you want amazing pyro, check out a Rammstein show. Everything I've seen since has paled in comparison.

Like the song though, the evil circus theme seems to be working. Have the album on order, so haven't heard the whole thing yet.

Thanks for sharing! We posted this video and also a Kamelot video on the PPUSA facebook page late yesterday afternoon.

I don't usually notice drummers, but I was amazed watching Jukka keep a steady beat with his left hand while doing fills, cymbals and god knows what else with his right. I can barely pat my head while rubbing my stomach, let alone have separate appendages keeping different time. Amazing.
