New DVD "End Of An Era" out in June. Heard they may have troubles with this one in the States. Hope Not! Anyone hear? Nothing on the website.

The dude she got married to was some kind of asshole and had turned Tarja against the rest of the band making their lives miserable when everybody was going to parties Tarja was going back to the hotel and some shit like that !.They all had problems with her attitude and decided to fire her.

Bad attitude or not...her voice was irreplacable. They're my favorite band...finding out they split was like...black monday for me.

Well, I don't now... I don't think it's good when a band stands on a fact that they've got a woman singer, so I have never got into them... Had some of their cd's so I know how do they sound, but I just don't feel like listening to them anymore.

I think the thing that makes Nightwish stand head and shoulders above all the copycat metal/opera vocals is not only Tarja's amazing vocals....but the fact that the band is VERY good. They have very strong songwriting abilities...so they don't NEED her to succeed. I'm sure there are other opera vocalists that fill do fine.

On this year's Trans Siberian Orchestra tour, they had a female opera goddess totally rocking out, and I thought "hmm...if NW ever broke up, she should apply for the job!"

Yeah NightWish is very good live! And Yes! This is a live DVD. It would be nice if they included ONCE promo/videos to this. But I'm still hoping for a States release. If not I'll probably have to shell out some $$$
