So i finished this cover and the band already liked the mix. But still i'd like to have your input on it. I'm not sure but i think the solo should go a tad down.

Well done!! The recording sounds very much like the original, with a modern twist! (coming from an ex-nightwish fan...well, not ex, but I don't listen to them much these days)

The guitars sound thin a bright, it lacks some mids.

I do feel the guitars kinda bright, but i found it pretty hard to make them work well together with the keys.

mix sounds good, guitars are little bit thin
when i listen to vocals, i've a strange feeling about rythm, as she was "hurry" when recording. I should be due to the tempo, faster than the original song?

Thanks, yeah the tempo is not the same as in the original. But the singer is actually a tad behind in some places. And as I pointed it out to her she answered she made it on purpose kinda like it's her "feeling". Anyways good observation.
