I think it's going to be a looong wait until the end of September, but at least there is something to wait for :headbang: :Smokin: :kickass:

Wow.

Anyone else agree that her and Marco harmonize together much better than Tarja?
Me agree. They sound awesome together. In general Marco will have a bigger role on this CD - he will even sing one song alone. Marco's da man! :kickass:

But Anette also kicks serious ass. Reminds me a bit of of Ann Wilson when she goes agressive. Not bad at all :heh:

I thought I read Marco was singing two songs alone...one acoustic and one heavier...I'll have to go back and read again. :loco:

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!! Oh Man it's so long till Sept, but i have to say that NOW i fully think that Anette is wayyyyyyyyyy better than the other singer they had what's her name again, and those harmonies with Marco Awesome. They have hit a homerun in two ways with the new singer and the new CD.

Tarja = better singer, more enjoyable voice. I like the deeper, fuller, richer Tarja voice.

That said, I do like Anette's voice, and I think these songs sound great. I know some people think she is horrid though.

Marco is a good singer. Not sure if I want him singing that much on the new album. Not ready to say this new singer harmonizes better with Marco after just listening to a short clip.

It sounds to me the band has went slightly in a different direction, which is good to start the new chapter off. I'd be willing to bet that Marco will be utilized a little more in the future or at least that's what I'm thinking. I can't wait for the new release or to see them in Atlanta in November. I bought my ticket yesterday!

Im looking forward to the new Nightwish now. I like Tarja and everything, but I think Anette is a better fit for Nightwish from the samples. I think Im a little on the opposite side than Cheiron when it comes to the preference on voices. The deeper fuller voice is less enjoyable for me. Don't get me wrong, Tarja is an awesome singer I just prefer a different style. Im also very excited that Marco has a maximized roll in this next album.

The most recently released Nightwish disc I like is Wishmaster. Surprisingly, these three clips sound decent to me. I will check this one out when it is available.

The new vocalist is acceptable. I love Tarja's vocals on the first three Nightwish discs, so it's unfair for me to compare the new chick to her. Sounds like she'll do just fine.

Wishmaster is my favorite album by them. I did like the last couple of studio releases. But I do think Tuomas did go a bit overboard with the orchestration.

Oh man, I love seven days to the wolves already! Haha, so I might be jumping to conclusions - but Nightwish is going to be just fine, at least in my book!

Sounds good. The only thing wrong with it is that they now sound like a Delain clone. Or will Delain now sound like a Nightwish clone since the latter is the more established? Either way Marco harmonizes with Anette much the same as he does with Charlotte.
Yes. Nightwish will be fine, though they won't be unique anymore.

Hmmmm... I think I'm gonna miss the operatic style of vocals.

But having said that, I think the samples sound OK.
No doubt .. that was the Nightwish sound .. that's what made them great in my opinion. I'll take Tarja any day over this new gal. The new gal has a pleasant enough voice, but I'm guessing they won't appeal to me as much as before.
