Personally, I like the shorter releases like this. It's not so much material that is hard to digest. Speaking of the music itself - I'm liking it more than anything he's released since The Fragile. I like some of the experimental stuff on Year Zero (hated With Teeth) and Ghosts was nice but not really much on substance. This seems to combine the good elements of YZ and Ghosts with cooler songs all around.

Plus, the hidef wave version sounds AMAZING on my JBL monitors! I wish music would always come out in such high quality.

I thought this one was pretty similar to With Teeth actually.

I got the FLAC version. I'll probably listen to this album much more than the others like Year Zero.

Personally I think the first half sounds like With Teeth and Year Zero B-sides but the second half is fantastic. I think this kinda shows the two ways he could potentially move at this point, poppier catchy songs or more experimental/ ambient tracks. Although knowing him, he's bound to do something completely different and make a death metal CD...
