Ninedenine require Guitarist.
We are looking for someone (and this is important) with plenty of Gigging and Recording experience to replace departed Guitarist.
Good gear and 'On stage' image a huge advantage as we pride ourselves as a good live band.
Age: No huge issue, providing you appreciate rock / alternative/ metal music as a whole.
We would like (if possible) for you to send some good quality recorded material, and a Biog (a bit about you, what you have done, and a photo would be useful.)
Influences:
As individuals we all like whatever we want (as you should), our tastes meet in the middle and have been likened to: Alice In chains, Tool, Earthtone9, Kyuss, Soundgarden, Life Of Agony. However we do constantly feel the need to push the boundaries, ensuring we have our own 'sound' and style. From a guitarist, we would appreciate some huge riffs, different ideas and a little cunningness.
Plans for 2004: include the release of a 5 trk EP in late Feb / early March (Recording complete) followed by heavy gigging up and down the country starting in April, both headline shows, and profile supports, writing of new material, and a 2nd EP due to record and follow later in the year.

Band members are based between Nottingham and West Yorkshire. We have done alot of ground work since forming in late 2000. Toured and played shows with Vex Red, Hermano (ex-Kyuss), Spoiler, Alabama ThunderPussy, Paradise Lost, Nightwish. Recorded two EP's, The self titled debut (later christened 'The Scars' EP), and the one pending release in 2004.
