one of the most overrated bands on the face of the Earth...doesn't mean they were TERRIBLE...I mean, their tone was bad, they were sloppy... I can't stand it honestly...but I can see why ppl would like it... But still immensely overrated... The unplugged album was good...

Not a huge, huge fan of 'grunge', or Nirvana in general. But Alice in Chains.....now that's another story. Layne Staley was awesome. But.....the more I listen to grunge, and the further we get away from that point in time.....the more I can appreciate what it brought to the music world. I'm open-minded, and am at least willing to give it a chance to grow on me.

Nirvana is great. Bleach is awesome and so is the rest of their discography.

Incesticide has some incredible stuff.

They are pure noise rock with slick production on Nevermind and In Utero.

Great melody. Otherwise, it is ameturish, sloppy, simple, ect. But some of the melodies are real timeless. Kurt had a good ear, just a little too much lowest commen denominater type thing.

I detest the word 'grunge'. It was hard rock, in my opinion.

I liked Nirvana though I agree that Alice in Chains was much better. 'Dirt' was the junkie album of the 90's - every decade should have at least one.
