has anyone else seen the line-up so far for the NJ fest? looks pretty friggin sad so far if you ask me. the only band id be interested is Fleshcrawl. i hope there are some kick ass suprises added. Mass. seems to be shaping up great though from what ive read. to bad thats to far for me to travel.

not really, considering the fact they tour by themselves in the states..mastadon is touring right now actually, or sometimes real soon.. i mean its $55 for 2 days

Sure, I confess that I can do without some of the "headliners", but I have a selfish reason for wishing the show success.
Dragon Green is playing the main stage and Superhighway Carfire will probably be on the Relapse stage. Both bands are friends of mine and both destroy.
Shai Hulud and Dying Fetus are petty good as well.

thats cool..its good to support your friends. id like to fleshcrawl...that would be very cool actually. i never thought they'd make it to US soil. maybe they'll do a small club tour as long as they're here.

Meltdown is pathetic, koshick is letting anyone who will pay play, "Twizted" is a rap act associated with icp there are also 2 other rap acts playing. Ticket prices have already been dropped 10- 15 bucks because koshick knows he cant compete with the mass metal and homocore fests line up.

You're right about some of the bands realy sucking ass but I think it's about a 50-50 split.
Stand-outs for me are: Mastodon, Burnt By The Sun, Alabama Thunder Pussy, Bongzilla, Kalibas, and of course the mighty RABIES CASTE and Dragon Green. :D

I'm a bit disappointed my friends Superhighway Carfire won't get to play this year - but it's crazy to pay a $1000 or more to play a 45 minute set. Especially considering that they'd probably get a shitty time slot when nobody is even there!
Jack has managed to get Cannibal Corpse and Nuclear Assault, which is significant although I'm not a huge fan of either band.
