The remastering job they did on it was good. They brought up the volume but didn't crank it (ie. mid 1990s levels). The bonus tracks aren't anything special. I haven't watched the DVD yet.

I just downloaded the Perfect Semmetry expanded version off the MB Press site. No Exit is one of their best efforts. I'll have to grab a copy next weekend...

I went straight to the bonus disc with demos... Worthy of purchase.
I'll have to check out disc one later today or tonight. Obviously that album is great to begin with....

probably my least fav Fates album -- the band was in a transition... Ray Adler was trying to be John Arch & sing an octave too high... hooks are few & far between

I did check out the new version, but it did little to change my opinion.

The sound is stronger in the expanded version.

The bonus tracks are interesting, but I can't call them essential. The same goes for the documentary that is included in the DVD. The sound of the live tracks there is terrible, though.

You're right No Exit remaster was released last year...

I picked up No Exit this morning... Wow!
