Here's some news:

NEVERMORE, PESTILENCE, TEXTURES and HOT LEG have been confirmed for the Aardschok stage (powered by Jägermeister) at this year's Zwarte Cross (Black Cross) festival, set to take place July 24-26 in Lichtenvoorde, Holland. A total of 18 metal bands will perform at the event which will feature 12 (!) stages, a theater area, a stunt arena, a kids arena and a full-blown motocross circuit.

The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

De Zwarte Cross is a legendary festival, haha.
Bier zuipen en brommers kieke! ( to drink beer and to fuck is what it literally means but 'brommers kieke' is a metaphore, a dutch joke in the dialect from the area where De zwarte Cross is being held. It's a traditional farmer festival and since a few years it's getting very metal orientated. The metal area is next to the motorcross section, and camp 666 is for the metalheads, there's another camping for the farmerboys 'n girls. Lichtenvoorde is in a region called 'De Achterhoek' ( 'The Backcorner' literally translated) and it's no wonder to me, why Mr. Angus Young nowadays lives there.
De Achterhoek is my favourite vacation area, late winter/ early spring.
The people are just great there, it's just that i don't understand wtf they are saying because their dialect is horrible.
Seriously, make those farmerboys go apeshit and enjoy the unique ambiance of motorcross, beer, amazing stunts, excessively drunk women, (cabaresque-) dutch bands and metal!
