We're glad you can make the shows that you do, Rya. It's always great to see you!darthrya said:I was hoping to check a few shows up here, but then I got put on orders for a military assignment. I could only squeeze in one show. I'm too busy moving my stuff into storage.
This really sucks. A miss a lot of good shows because of military stuff pulling me all over the states and world. I get assignments at the worst possible time. I'm going to miss my first wedding anniversary, my high school reunion, several Maidens gigs, and if Iron Maiden decides to front-load the US part of the tour before Japan, I'll miss them too because there's not a snowballs chance in hell they'll be playing where I'll be training.
Thanks for the kind words, Aja. I was thrilled to see the ladies rip it up again.Air Raid Siren said:We're glad you can make the shows that you do, Rya. It's always great to see you!
As a military brat and a musician I can relate to what you're saying. In both cases, you often have to give up a lot of things other people don't. It does suck to have to miss so many significant events but what you are doing is so important for all of us and we appreciate your sacrifices more than you know. Stay safe and let us know how things are going!

It's been some tough training. We are going through urban warfare training, and I've sweated off a few pounds I can't afford to give up (I'm now under 150). Just yesterday it was 107, and I was in full armor in the sun doing rifle training. It sucked, but I need realistic training if I ever get shipped off to some place even hotter.
I hope the tour went/is going well!
Glad to hear you ladies had a fun time. You are welcome back anytime. I hope I can catch more than one date the next time.Air Raid Siren said:The tour was a blast and it was great to see you and your other half again!
Urban warfare, oh my!:zombie:
Hope ya have plenty of gatorade or smart water to replace those electrolytes you're losing!
