With ticket prices being cheaper to Calgary than Rochester, I may opt to take my holiday North of the border. Plus two shows are greater than one. EricT, Vittra, you two lads confirmed for this?

I'd be lying if I said my interest isn't waning. What's with all this grind(core) influenced crap?

2 stars

Destroyer 666 & Aura Noir? Hmmm. They played back-to-back at the last Maryland Deathfest. They really loaded up on local (Calgary) bands for this last announcement. I was interested in this, but I will have seen all of the national bands this year before the festival. It is also during a weekend where I have a chance to make some easy money at my occasional part time job.

There's a good chance I may not be going anymore.

As much as I want to see D666, Aura Noir and Ares Kingdom, I don't think I can pass up the opportunity to see Blasphemy who were just announced as playing a show Oct 3 in Montreal. They've never played east coast, probably won't ever again, and even on their home soil in BC they usually only play secret shows, so this is pretty much a "once in a lifetime" opportunity.

D666 on the other hand will likely be back even if just in the US, as it seems they are starting to gear up to come here more often, and the fact they are once again playing with Aura Noir is a good sign.

At any rate, nothing is set in stone just yet. We'll see.
