Sweden's NonExist - featuring former Arch Enemy vocalist Johan Liiva and Andromeda guitarist Johan Reinholdz - are writing material for their second full-length record, tentatively due before the end of the year.

The follow-up to last year's "Deus Deceptor" will be recorded in part at Reinholdz' personal studio, Multipass Studios, in Höör, where the guitarist recorded sections of Andromeda's newest album, "II=I".

Johan said about new album: "The new songs are slower, heavier and a bit more melodic. Still brutal though . . . The material is more mid-paced generally, some fast songs though. There were some keyboards on 'Deus Deceptor', but on the new one there's gonna be more, both chords and melodies. Another difference is that there are less odd-time signature grooves".

The as-yet-untitled album will not feature the services of current Defleshed/Dark Funeral/Sportlov drummer Matte Modin, who played on the group's debut. A replacement drummer has yet to be named.
