nordic high pitch vocal preperation

just wondering if there are any good tips for warming up nordic style power metal high pitch vocals?? Like Into Enternity? SteelHeart.....or something like that.

Drink tips? Vocals warm ups....whatever. thx

Normal vocal warm-up , I'd say. A good one for high vocals is a resonance warmup. Sing a note but make it really nasal, then slowly move the note higher and higher. Move the vibration around your mouth to warm it up.
As for drinks, warm water, I like tea with lemon and honey.

take a medium temperature raw egg in one gulp. it will line your throat and sooth your voice box before any high singing. do not drink coke or fizzy drinks or alcohol. these contain a high volume of sugar which will make you produce more saliva which will be more sticky and tacky then usual restricting your throat movement.

take honey if your throat is in bits and very sore - dont take it if its okay, just go with the raw egg trick and sing your scales, not forgetting to work your upper palate to open your mouth and allow the sound to resonate within your mouth so you can project your voice louder and clearer
