In retrospect, when I went there, I should have gone as a rock guitarist rather than a jazz player. Then I would have been able to partake in the cheese. I remember one ensemble did "One More Red Nightmare" by King Crimson with several brassy sounding female R&B singers. Now that was hot!

I'm not a Berklee dude. I just went to the summer guitar sessions. All of the rock guitarists there tried really hard to sound just like John Petrucci. He rules 'n all but...................

i got to jam with john petrucci once at the guitar workshop. cool guy, great player, but he had the unfair advantage of having his rig whilst i played through a fender combo amp. But i matched his chops with blinding whammy bar pyrotechnics on my ibanez.
