I'm sorry. Those guys are gross. Seriously dudes, the singer's huge in the porn industry (which is fine...) but he's heavily into the tantric S&M stuff and I've seen pictures of when he hung himself from the ceiling with FLESH HOOKS for a three-song set.

That said, it must be a dream come true to play with Paradise Lost. COME THE US ALREADY! You're having Shabbas at my house when you come to play Seattle, remember?

Ahem- I did some reasearch on this Zane guy- it appears that he is really notorious in certain circles. Let's not get into details here, for fear of this becoming a very very strange topic.
You would never guess him to be a hotshot in the pornindustry, he comes across very timid. Which goes to show that looks/ appearances can be deceiving.

Funny you ask. I'm really not that into...erm...porn, it's a passive interest.

The same can't be said for my friend this summer on my Israel trip program(I'm 17, just so everyone knows), and so he had our other friend buy him an Israeli magazine of that sort.

It turned out to be an 8-month-old copy of Oui magazine, which actually covers metal music as well as the normal stuff. I was reading the interview it had with Matt Zane and it FREAKED ME OUT. I mentioned it to another friend back home and she told me of the flesh hook bit.

Gross stuff. Damn shame they have tour with such superior bands like PL and OL (heheh, I like the acronyms..), but then- two outta three ain't bad! ...Especially for you Nathalie, as you're like best buds with every single guy in OL. Which I'm completely jealous of. You should go on the US tour with them, and I could actually meet another true fan of the band.

On a side note, everyone- I'm changing this screen name soon- it was the name of my old band that broke up months ago. I'll likely change it to Nefesh. Now, who here that is non-israeli wants to tell me what that means? QUIZ TIME!

Agreed Nocturnals- as I mentioned before, the contact with Society 1 was good and pleasant. But yes- when you learn such things about people, well I cannot say that it will not have an effect on the way I will look at them the next time. Not saying that I will be unfriendly or anything. But yes, I had a look at some sites contaning the name of aformentioned person and it was quite a shock..... Let's leave the whole discussion at this.

Now on the name bit- I will get back to you on that one ok????
