The fucking Labor geese in my area have been at it heavily for the last month... typical Labor waste campaign so far.
The funniest one so far has been a flyer (well, about 5 flyers...) making a bit deal about how LIBERALS ARE GOING TO CANCEL A TRAIN LINE WHICH LABOR IS PROPOSING OH MY FUCKING GOD ITS GOING TO TAKE YOU AN HOUR LONGER TO GET TO THE CITY EACH WEEKK!KKK!K!K!!! Never mind the sheer volume of train lines proposed under Labor, how much money has been wasted on them already, how many have been cancelled with nothing to show for it, and that an hour each week is really not even 5 minutes per trip. Bring back Lachlan Macquarie. He'd sort this shit out good.

Don't get me wrong, Fatty O'Barrel does not deserve to be in power either...he's got nothing that really resembles policy.

O'Farrell's been in opposition so long, he won't know what to do if he becomes Premier. As for the trains, well, don't expect the Liberals to fix that wagon. The Libs have no stock in something that loses money like public transport. Toll roads! Expect more of those. Urban sprawl! Expect more of that. Infrastructure! Well, erm... no, let's move people into an area first, before we start building them enough hospitals and schools. Because until they start paying land taxes, we can't afford them. And even then, ROADS! Because cars make us money. Hospitals just cost and cost AND COST! Fuck, Labor just gave the nurses MORE money. MORE MONEY, to stand around behind a desk, doing nothing.

It seems like the next Qld election, people are gonna vote out the incumbent government because they have gotten complacent and feel we need to 'teach them a lesson', but there is absolutely no good opposition, so no matter what way you turn, your gonna be fucked.

Has there been any more said about the apparent Liberal plan to amalgamate councils? I read in our local rag there was a rumour they wanted to split Blue Mountains between Lithgow and Penrith. It's a safe bet to suggest that no one wants that.
