nt1-a or at3035 ?

hi folks,
this week its time for a new mic, shame that miclover666 isn't around anymore,
he would be the consultant of choice but anyways ...
i won't have the possibility to test these mics but ive narrowed my
decision down to those two. which one should i get ?
to be used with screams and pop vocals, female/male, acoustics, pretty much
everything so thats no criteria i guess.

Get a used 4040 for the same price. They're around $225 new on Ebay, and it's a good step up from the NT1 or 3035. The 4040 is a keeper in this price range, or any mic locker, for that matter.

you can get 4040s new for 230.00 almost anywhere. gc, roaddog online and alto all said they would sell me a 4040 for 230.00 new. its a great mic for the cash.

I, too, would opt for the 4040, but I'd definitely take a 3035 over an NT-1.

I owned both at one point but sold them and got a 4040. I liked the 3035 much better.
