Hell yes. As far as good music goes, I've been liking his the longest. Many people in my age group are probably the same way and they don't even realize it.

Final Fantasy 2 - Best game music ever. Whenever I think of that game I think of the opening scene with the Red Wings going to Mysidia, and that kickass march sounding music comes on... The great atmosphere of that game is 70% musical.

I love the music from for all of Final Fantasy 7-10. He is a brilliant composer.

Oh also, anybody like the soubdtrack to Advent Children? No kidding it is mostly Neoclassical Metal (as in like Necrophagist but without the vocals)!

Nabuo Uematsu is my favorite composer. I've beena fan of his work for years.

The Black Mages are great! Uematsu's music really brings the whole final fantasy experience together.

He's brilliant at what he does, it wouldn't be possible to emphasise the emotion and atmosphere in the games' respective scenes better than he does in tracks like Anxious Heart, Drifting, The Oath, On That Day Five Years Ago, The Great Northern Cave, etc (I name only the music of 7 and 8 because I can't remember any of the other soundtrack titles). A few of the orchestral/piano renditions are beautiful as well - I can't say I'm a fan of The Black Mages though...

I own Advent children and its like.. one of my FAVORITE sound track of my whole existance... Sephiroths theme is amazing....and jenova theme...... also the cover of jenova done on piano by noir is wonderful...
