Nuendo question

i need to know how to get the master track into the left side so i can edit it.
the reason is that i want to make a fade out, and you can do that pressing the R and it will be green and you can get the volume down etc.
but all i can do is add audio tracks, and miditracks but i want the master track into that same screen. when i press F3 i can only add the plugins.
and press the R so it becomes green ofcourse. but i can't make a fade out with it.

There must be a simplier way but in the meantime:
1 Engage W (write) red button on the master track on the mixer
2 Play the song and move the fader of the track
3 Stop the song, press the R (read) green button, press once again the R button (so it's off)
3 Right click in the left side on the main window and choose "show all automation" or something like that.

And don't forget to RTFM...
