Ok here is the confusion:

There are a number of charts. I was quoting the "top 200 albums", and SavaDude was quoting the "Independent Albums" chart.

I did click on your link but for some reason it went right to the band's album listing rather than the top independent albums. So then I had to search for which chart. However, when I click on it now, it goes right to the independent chart list.

Anyway, I think we have it sorted out now!

I am amazed by this for two reasons:

1. Maiden actually made #9 overall. It's great to see metal doing this good against all musical competition.

2. Maiden made #1 on the independent chart. That's an achievement for any non-commercial band.


To be simultaneously #1 on an independent chart and #9 on the overall music chart is a huge feat for any band. Independent bands rarely break the top #200.
