This is in response to an earlier thread regarding clubs to play at in NY. Figured this might be worth a new thread as posts sometimes get easily lost if there are too many in one thread.
Being that I have not been to/played at most of these, I am not going to vouch for the quality (club size, stage size, quality of the PA, draw, etc) of any of them - especially the ones at the top. I can tell you though, the Chance is a great place to play. They draw a big crowd on weekends, have a fairly large stage, and a good PA.
And of course, there is L'Amour, and CBGB's, but I am figuring you already have those covered. Good luck!
