I got to hear them last night with my 11 year old son, as I headed out of Hershey Park amusement park, the stadium they were playing in was next door. I have to say Axl and company sounded note for note pretty close to all their songs off Appetite and Use your Illusion. It was amazing to hear.
And also explains how old I've become given I was about 13 or 14 when i first heart Sweet Child. My son had lots of questions that I was happy to explain. So of course on the ride home treated him to some G N R, and then he proceeds to tell me about how he likes Led Zeppelin's Kashmir, and I put that on too. He definitely isn't interested in the music of his generation that's for sure.
