O/T My computer illiterate ass needs sum help...big surprise there..lol

ok 2 things.

1. shouldn't media player be writing text (album and song title) to my cdrs when I'm burning?

2. I got tha DOOM trilogy and Dark Forces 2 (I'm all about old skool games boooooy) and installed them on my laptop...however 5 minutes into either game my laptop overheats and shuts down. What the fuck? It's done it a few times whilste burning cd's too. Seriously, what tha fuck?


.....and no I cannot return the laptop b/c I won it at a hockey game. I shall put up w/ this nuisance if I must only b/c it was free. LOL

any answers out there?

Try the games on a desktop pc, and see if they work.

Dunno on the media player burning question, I use the burn program that came with my cd burner. Record Now. And it didn't do that.

i tried to write the cd text in on a cd of mine i burnt and it did not come out, but i had to go to a special spot to do that, but i may experiment around with it more later if i feel like mixing something.
