so, just another day. get up and getting ready to go to class... OH FUCK HOWARD STERN ISN'T ON. there's a terrible morning show in it's place, playing terrible music and using the motto "fun without the filth".

i hope this is just a really really bad April Fool's Day joke. i think it is. the music they're playing doesn't come close to the format of the station (classic rock) and the calls they keep putting on the air are basically all people asking where the fuck howard is.

please god. no!
 
I thought it was great when you could hear the farting in the background and then Jeff the Drunk starts yelling, "You Skanky Ho!!" and "Shut up you Bitch!!!" I kept turning the radio on and off waiting to hear it was a joke, thank God it was.
 
I live in Orlando and we were one of the Clear Channel stations that he got yank off of a couple of weeks back.



Sucks Balls............. I was a huge fan of his show. I miss Jeff the Drunk. And Artie Lang is the best. Dude reminds me of a couple of my old friends from high school.

Well, check his website out Armored, hes putting a bunch of shit on there to fight the FCC and this crackpot moralist Bush who wants to push his bullshit Christian ideas down everybody elses throat. Fuck, if I hear about how we need to protect the children one more fucking time from these politicians, Democrat and Republican alike. You know who should protect their children, the fucking parents. I always thought the Republican thing was less government....I must of missed a chapter in my Government book in high school. Of course, ive been out so long now, I might of just forgot in my old age. DAMN ALZHEIMERS....at 32.
 
I must be getting old but I listen to sports talk in the AM. The show I listen to is LA based (hosted by the blind date guy Roger Lodge) but the Station is affiliated with Sporting News radio. You can listen to it on the net at 1540theTicket.com It concentrates on the LA\SoCal sports scene but carries some National shows.

Howard Stern loves this shit. He might act like he is hating all of this but this is just a tool for him to try to get his name back out there. And he is milking it for all its worth. Personally I would rather hear music in the morning and not tittie and fart jokes.

You must not listen to WEBN then.....anyway, like him or not, the FCC is out of line with this shit. Some may find it offensive, while others may not. Turn the fucking station if it offends you and if you are so worried about, heres the keyword again, kids, quit your fucking job and keep a 24 hour watch on them or better yet, if you cant control them, maybe you shouldnt of had them in the first place. The Government should not be your babysitter and make ones who enjoy this kind of thing suffer. The Religious right!!! Arent these the same people that brought us such characters as Jim Baker and Jimmy Swaggart? Fuck, give me Jeff the Drunk and Beetlejuice over these two fucks anyday. At least they arent bilking people out of their money in the name of God and morality while banging whores and building air conditioned dog houses.

Nasty on the air. I heard he's nothing close in real life. However, I find the FCC and many public officials far more nasty than Howard could ever be. There are limits to what should be out there, but nobody ever comes up with a decent way to figure out those limits. I sure as hell don't want John ASScroft, GW Bush or little Powell telling me what to watch and not watch and yes, I have 2 kids. It's up to me to determine how to control what they see and hear and then to teach them how to deal with all of the other stuff they are going to run into. It's called parenting! I learned all me swear words and most of the sex words by like the 4th grade--all from kids in school with older brothers and saisters and shit--It didn't take Howard Stern to teach me that!!!

I couldn't agree more. Stern annoys the fuck out of me but at the same time people deserve to have the opportunity to listen to his lame ass show if they want to.
