That is truly sad news. I've been looking forward to seeing the Who since this winter when I got tix for thier summer tour.
As of right now, The Who have not announced one way of the other whether or not they are cancelling the tour, which leads me to believe that they are going to march forward! Call me selfish, but I say hell yeah, John would not have wanted them to call it off so I say march on............

I was completely shocked today when Lonn Friend called
to tell me that
The Ox, John Entwistle had died in Vegas.
Absolutely stunned.
The man was a giant among men.
The most influential bass player of our time.
His stoic demeanor the antithesis of Moon's insanity,
Townshend's
mania,
and Daltrey's swagger.
I was going to see these living legends this weekend
in Los Angeles
along with hundreds of thousands of others on their
upcoming tour.
I'm glad I got to see him in my lifetime.
His legacy will live eternally, holding down the
bottom of arguably the
greatest rock band ever.
Listening to "Boris" and drinking a Guinness,
