I just recently got the first two albums from the Canadian technical metal band Obliveon and thought I'd see if anyone else here is a fan of the band. They are (were at this point despite some reunion shows I believe) a technical thrash metal band from Quebec in the vein of Voivod and Martyr (they preceded Martyr and the influence is pretty clear to my ear).
Anyone who enjoys moderately heavy technical metal should definitely give them a chance, particularly the albums From This Day Forward and Nemesis.
