Obstinacy was founded in 22 October 2000 by two musicians who live in Istanbul.
Then two more musicians included in the band.
Obstinacy worked with several musicians and they performed at several concerts.
The band is performing their music with their own style.

They distributed their first demo A Reason To Be at a concert
which they were performing in 29 July 2005.

In 23 October 2005 the band will perform at Marduk concert in Istanbul.
Soon Obstinacy will be working on their debut album.
