there are three dates on the opeth sight that are not on the sotu sight. one is in new york and the other two are in texas. does anyone know anything about these shows? who is playing with them...etc?

so, i decided to not be lazy and found aout that the odessa, tx gig features opeth, and chimaira...who do you guys think will headline this? i can't seem to find out. if opeth is headlining, i'll be making a roadtrip...if not, i might anyway. they will for sure have a longer setlist than the sotu tour.

I agree. I would rather see them at a "show" of theri own like that. And I'd like to check Chimaira out though, also. Never seen them live, and they have new stuff I would like to hear.

Opeth are headlining in Odessa on July 18. Chimaira, Strapping Young Lad, and A Life Once Lost are opening. I'm going to catch them there cause I'm only 2 hours away. Will be my first time seeing Opeth in concert. I can't fucking wait!
i looked up the number to the venue...i will be calling them after work to see if they know who the headliner is. a 15 hour road trip to see my favorite band at a mexican food restaraunt, followed by a night of camping...damn...thats life.
