office retreat

apparently this translates into 9 hours in a private law firm boardroom with no vegetarian food offered. and i hear threats that someone wants to hold a reiki circle.
i am going to show up drunk and loaded on pills at this rate.

i hate office retreats

the last one i went to, i had to arrive at work 1.5 hours early. i didn't stop for coffee as usual because they always provide it, right? wrong. not even a bottle of water. HELL.

yea this starts an hour early also. my only saving grace is that it's at a firm where a cute lawyer i know works and maybe he can pull a fire alarm or cause a commotion and get me out of there.

There was some party on the third floor today in celebration of our new fall lineup or something.

But I was not invited.

There was beer too.

In plastic cups, but still.
