(except for the occasional GnR fan getting crushed to death of course back in the days when 100,000 people would actually go to a one day heavy metal festival).

Alas, those were the days - long gone, but still remembered.

Oh yeah - just so we can see Alice in Chains supporting the debacle that Megadeth became singing songs like Breadline and Ecstasy to a Slayer mosh pit.

The first Clash of the Titans was great - I'll even go with Suicidal Tendencies on the bill, but the rest sucked. Megadeth past RIP became pathetic.
