Isn't that what Skyclad tried to do with that show they put on last year that had Blaze and Saxon playing? Doesn't sound like it was very successful...

It was a great show and seemed pretty successful to me.. I went to see Skyclad and Return to the Sabbat mainly but i'm a big fan of Blaze and he really stole the show.

This year they have Blind Guardian headlining. Sounds like they are doing alright to me Of course no Skyclad since the promoter and them no longer see eye to eye.

Thanks Arcane! I heard a lot about the first festival but nothing about it ever again, so I assumed the idea had fallen on its face. Good to know that it's still alive. What's happening with Skyclad these days?

Skyclad are marching on with their new singer, Kevin. They recently released an album of old songs with the new singer which has apparantly gone down pretty well.

Martin Walkyier is still doing occaisional shows with Return to the Sabbat and working on some "secret project".
