Hey eveyone,

just some new on the new Katagory V album... which will be available in time for Progpower this year!
:headbang:

Taken from the bands website:

After several months of silence, Katagory V finally announce the release date for their latest album, “The Rising Anger”

According to Katagory V, Nightmare Records has green-lighted the official release date for the bands long awaited third effort, “The Rising Anger”, which is now slated for worldwide release via the lable on April 25h 2006!

In the last few months, the band has been busy performing live (including the recent Monsters of Metal show with Helstar and Agent Steel) and finalizing details concerning the new album. According to bassist Dustin Mitchell, the band is excited to see the light at the end of the long two year tunnel. “We’ve worked extremely hard the last two years on making sure this album was done properly - from writing it to recording it - and with the help of Nightmare Records, we anticipate this release to be the album metal fans around the world have been wanting to hear since the very beginning, especially fans of Katagory V who have followed us since the early days. We are certain they will not be disappointed!” He continues, “This is the album we’ve wanted to do since day one, and it’s amazing to hear the final results and be 100% happy with how it has turned out. Granted, we feel the process for getting this album complete took far longer than it should have. However, we’re extremely excited to see this album come full circle now and we anticipate this album to be well worth the wait.”

The band currently has no plans to perform live until after the new album is released, but they have hinted at the planning of a possible CD release party to coincide with the release. It hasn’t been made clear at this time whether it will strictly be a listening/release party or if they will perform live. More details to come soon

Great news!

BTW, I like the parakeet in your avatar; I'm a big bird lover (have had up to 8 birds the past two years, currently have 6).

LOL... oh yeah, were bird fans - in fact, sheri's avatar is one of our birds, Avery the Quaker Parot.

however, with the new baby, our birds have become 2nd in line and quite jealous. :Spin:

Cool... with a new album out, maybe another appearance in Atlanta? The Katagory V performance at the pre-show party a couple years back was a good time!
