Okay, time for me to eat copious amounts of crow. I just got As the World Bleeds from Amazon, and boy was I an idiot. You might have read my previous post where I was a little worried about the musical direction of the band, that it might become to repetitive, using an overused powermetal beat that I'm not too fond of. Well, now that I've listened to the CD, I have to offer 10,000 apologies to Theocracy. This is EPIC. I didn't think the songwriting could get better but it has. The music is thrilling. I mean, just incredibly rousing to the spirit. Great work, Matt and company. I'm stunned. Seriously, "I AM" is an absolute Jam-Worship-Masterpiece.

It's okay to be an idiot sometimes..... I asked a German if he had a good Thanksgiving...... (that was yoykex)

XD you know, I would have done the exact same thing without even thinking.

lol, don't worry too much. ;)

As a sidenote: We also have a kind of "thanksgiving" in Germany, but that's on the 1st Sunday in October and quite different to yours.

How do you think I felt when I posted the artwork to "Mirror Of Souls" to my site early, not knowing how rabid the fans would be and find the artwork? :/

So is it really you? After all this time... I finally found you!

Quick! Everyone grab a torch and join the angry mob!

I can't get over how strong this CD is as a whole. I mean, I know I'm a bit of a metal snob just because I listen to SOOOOO much of it. I've been headbanging since 1983, so I know a bit about the genre. And seriously, it is rare for a band to make such quantum leaps like this. Some bands start with a bang--they kind of catch lightning in a bottle, but soon they just fizzle. See Guns&Roses. But Mirror of Souls was a HUGE step up from Theocracy. And now As the World Bleeds is a massive step up from Mirror of Souls. The music is complex, crunchy, catchy, uplifting, convicting, and varied enough to listen to over and over. Which is pretty much what I'm doing. God is working through your music, Theocracy bros. Seriously. It's probably different for every believer who listens, but listening to "I AM" I just feel like the Spirit of God is lifting me up, and I am overwhelmed by the greatness of God. Suddenly I wonder why I've ever doubted God, why I've ever thought my troubles were too much. God is the Great I AM. There is no one like Him. I am SO going to have to drive to Georgia this summer to catch you LIVE.

I'm glad to hear that you love the CD, and I'm grateful that you didn't give up on them before you heard it in its entirety!
