SUBJECT: Authorized Departure Tashkent, Uzbekistan
REFERENCE: SECSTATE Message R 022237 JUN 05
Effective June 2, 2005 the Department of State (DoS) has approved an authorized departure of Eligible Family Members (EFMs) and Non- Emergency Essential (NEE) personnel from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Safe haven is designated as CONUS.
The authorized departure status has been approved for an initial period of 30 days and will remain in effect thereafter until terminated by DoS. Family members who leave under this authority may not return until the authorized departure is terminated.
Stop Movement: Travel to Tashkent, Uzbekistan for all dependent personnel in all categories is hereby suspended. This authority remains in effect until the DoS terminates the authorized departure.
Dependents of uniformed personnel will be processed for safe haven allowances in accordance with Chapter 6, Volume 1 of the JFTR. Eligible DoD civilians and EFMs will be processed as indicated in Chapter 12 and Appendix Ito the JTR volume 2.
