For those of you in the Columbus, OH area, I just wanted to remind you that this Fri (Jan 7th) the Newport Music Hall is having a benefit for the victims of the 10-8 (Damageplan) tragedy. All of the proceeds go directly to the Columbus victim's families (Erin Halk and Nathan Bray). Lineup includes Volume Dealer, Noise Auction, Liquid 6teen, and Gone Until Tomorrow. At least this is at one of Columbus's better venues; the legendary Newport Music Hall (formerly the Agora Columbus). I might show up for this, the 'Port is one of my fave places in the state.
