They were talking about this on that George Nori Overnight show, I think its definitely possible and somewhat probable, just going by the state that our borders are in right now, this would be a good way to infiltrate, but the bomb would more than likely be a dirty bomb, if they popped these off in 3 or 4 major cities on one given day it would definitely fuck the economy in a bad way.

that is exactly why we need to be pro-active and go after these bastards with everything we have, because if the democrats regain control in '06 and in '08, we will go back to appeasing the terrorists and waiting for them to blow something up before we even consider doing anything about it. because democrats hate the military and everything it stands for, and they only use the military to push their scandals out off of the front page of the newspapers....bill clinton......... democrats will end the war on terror and will only wait until a nuke kills hundreds of thousands of people before they do anything, but they will feel like the usa deserved it and will make everyone go through sensitivity training so we never 'offend' muslims again.

I believe the United States' technology would not allow this. We have satellites that can detect nuclear radiation. In fact, some of the electronics labs working for the U.S. just released a new device that costs about 8 dollars a piece made of just some common components that can detect nuclear radiation. Making them useful for securing radioactive weaponry and stockpiles of radiactive waste. We also have planes that have a sole purpose of detecting any radioactive materials over larger cities flying around out there at all times.
I believe for these reasons we have not been attacked with nuclear weaponry whether it be a dirty bomb or actual nuclear warhead. I believe this was especially true during the cold war with the former Soviet Union. You have to also understand that nuclear weapons have to be "maintained" and are so expensive to maintain and must remain in a sterile environment to work properly. These so-called suitcase nukes are old already. Yeah they might have a slight chance of working, but I honestly don't believe they are here. If they were here they were probably seized a long time ago by special ops people working for the U.S. government. Bin Laden's days are slowly coming to a screaching halt.
Remember this...The U.S. developed SDI (star wars) in the 1980's, The stealth bomber and fighter program (which was developed in the late 1950's and was only intruduced to the general public in the 1990's and is continuing on to this day), a stealth helicopter (the comanche) that can fly BACKWARDS at almost 400 mph, a nuclear submarine fleet beyond anything ever seen in the world, HAARP, proton weaponry, ultra low and ultra high frequency weapons, beam weaponry, high powered solar lasers, a missile shield in full effect, a USAF space shuttle fleet that goes up more times in a year than any other country has gone up period, the first to develop the atomic bomb and actually use 2 of them on an enemy. This list goes on and on.
Our Military is far more advanced and has things that the average person could not even comprehend. Our country will protect our safety and would not let such a threat exist. I believe that Bin Laden and Al Queda would have used these weapons against us already if they had the capability.
The reason Sept 11th happened was not that we didn't know it was coming. We did know. We just had a massive communications failure because of the seperation between FBI and CIA sources (thanks president Clinton!).
I guess the future is yet to be seen, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

The reason I'm mentionning this documentary is that I think that some highly placed people in your country are indeed using fear as a political tactic... and that's why I don't buy that nuclear weapon story... that's my opinion, i hope you respect it as much as I respect yours...
