I am going to do a cover of this song and my goal is to get as close as possible to the original sound.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

All I really know so far is the panning.
Bass Drum : C
Snare: R
Banjo: R
Guitar: L

Tips on how to recorded the acoustic guitar would be very helpful...that is where I am stuck currently. I can't get that acoustic sound for some odd reason.

Chances are, he's playing an expensive Martin too.


Edit: Acoustic tone greatly depends on the musician too.
