Continuing the momentum that catapulted Metal Militia onto the
national music scene in 2003 with shows on Locobazooka!, Milwaukee Metal Fest,
March Metal Meltdown, Atlantis Music Show Case artist , two Grammy
considerations for 2003 Debut CD (Perpetual State of Aggression) and
articles and interviews in Pit magazine, Rock Hard (Germany) Metal Integral
(France) Heavy Metal Forces (Japan) just to name a few... things are
gearing up to be an incredible new year.
Paolo Gregoletto, (vocalist/bass) is excited to share incredible news
about the addition of some extremely talented
musicians who bring to the band some of the best talent in the metal
scene today. We welcome Jason (Jaybird) Mooney from Milwaukee, WI who is
a two time drum finalist (1996 & 2002) for SLAYER! Yes you've read
that correctly, he's a monster on the drums. Next is Chris Manning whose
speed and amazing skill as a lead guitarist brings just the right touch
of classic old school style blended with a hardcore metal sound. And
finally, George Buritica from LA on Rhythm guitar whose crushing backup
vocals adds a new dimension to the bands sound.
With the new line up in place Metal Militia will start pre-production
of their sophomore album and begin a frenzied touring schedule starting
in March.
Slayer/Megadeath/Pre-Black album Metallica fans...you gotta check their new stuff out...we just finished recording a demo of the first 5 songs at the PowerStation South Florida...and this stuff rocks.. ....plz check it out
