Anyone know of any plugins or samples? Tried downloading Izotope Vinyl but the .dll file isn't showing up in Reapers list and I cannot seem to activate the plug.

Try layering some white noise with some EQ, add a bit of tape saturation and a very soft chorus. Also you can try to HP and LP the whole mix.

Thanks man! Yeah I'm not too good at crafting my own sounds just yet from scratch. Thinking about using some sort of scratchy record sounding thing in part of our EP we're working on.

i have Reaper and use Izotope Vinyl often. it'll work great for this. if i remember, there was a full blown install for this plug, not just a copy/paste of the DLL into Reapers plug folder.
Yes I installed it but then when I opened Reaper, it asked me right away for the registration code or whatever. Then I had to X out of that window to go check my email and I cannot for the LIFE of me find this registration window again!!!

Just email izotope then and explain what happened. They should be able to get you squared away. There should be a spot on the actual plugin gui that you can click to bring up the registration activation again.
Will do. I just tried to reinstall it and the same thing happens. I can't even find, let alone open, the GUI.

I cant remember off the top of my head, but once you do find the GUI, try clicking where it says izotope. That might bring you to the registration part.
