"Omen", the band. Any good?

Is anyone here familiar with an 80s band named "Omen". They were signed, I believe, to Metalblade records. I have recently come across a used CD of a compilation of 80s metal tracks, and on it is a GREAT song named "Teeth of the Hydra" by Omen.

Are any of their records worth pursuing?

I think so. Man, I've been listening to them since those Metal Blade comps started coming out. I think those got me into Fates Warning as well, back in the Night On Broken days.

Anyway, get Teeth Of The Hyrda which is kind of a best of deal.

Omen are one of the greatest cult US Metal bands ever. "Battle Cry" is an essential album.

O yeah!If you like 80's Metal than quickly get some Omen albums.So far I listen only J.D. Kimball era(Battle Cry-The Curse) and it's pure classic.There's a rumour that their last album Eternal Black Dawn is quite like early albums.Anyone can compare it?
