Master of Puppets is a classic. It is ground-breaking and it stands the

These are live pics from one of Cliff's last concerts. John Marshall
is playing guitar since James' wrist was screwed up from a skateboarding
accident.

What a record! I do remember getting to the record store as fast as I could to get this album! I miss those days of being excited about metallica. I wonder if things would be different if Cliff were still alive. :erk:

Isn't John Marshal one of the guys form Metal Church???
Anyway, I kind of like Painkiller and Rust in Piece more than Master of Puppets, but it's still better than The Legacy.

And about why Metallica sux now, it's the same thing as with Twisted Sister and Quiet Riot; they got successful, quit writing music to write good music, started writing music to stay popular, and now, they suck.

Yes he was.

This thread is not:

1. Which albums are better than MOP
2. Why Metallica sucks now.

This is a MASTER OF PUPPETS APPRECIATION THREAD. Appreciate it or
bugger off this thread.

Thank You.

Sorry about that. Neway, I loved this album so much when I first got it. I listened to it so much that I got so sick and tired of it, that I hardly listened to it again. Now, it's about 2 and 1/2 years later and I'm finally not sick of it anymore. Definately a metal masterpiece.

No problem. It wasn't just you. Threads on this board get jacked fairly
often and I'm just as guilty as the next guy. As the Cop on this thread
I was just trying to keep law and order.

Once in a while you do get sick of hearing things time and time again.
I love listening to certain discs for weeks on end where ever I am and then
I don't listen to it for a while and I repeat the process.

Until recently I had not heard MOP for 3 years or so. I put it on and it still
sounds as awesome to me as when I first bought it on cd too many years
ago.
