I've heard amazing mixes here. This makes me want to give up but I keep coming back to it; must be a passion or something like that.

Some tools I used worth mentioning:
gtrs: Ibanez 7 string with Senn. e609
amp: Valveking with crappy B-52 cab
toms: TAMA superstar with Senn. e604
c4 & T-Racks on main outs in Cubase

I never finished the track, lost interest and almost gave up but I found this forum and it has inspired me to go back and work on it.
I've been recording for a long time but never went full in. I need to connect with others like you to get some perspective.

thanks for the feedback.
After listening, I notice the lacking bass tone.
I haven't found a good way to make it sit well in the mix.
It's my crappy bass performance. I tried to hide it. I thought I could get away with just adding some low end to the music but I can't get that past you.
Thanks again for the response. Time for new bass strings & a better approach. Or maybe a better gtr tone that doesn't overshadow the rest of the instruments?
