OK I hope I remember everything correctly:

Drums:All real besides kick which is a blend of the real one and some slate/LSD samples

Its the acryl set you can see in the video

Guitars:dual tracked and leads in the center.
one side is my framus cobra the other my peavey 6505
both through my mesa os 412 with a sm57 in front

We used a ibanez TS and the noise decimator

Bass: horrible bass guitar totaly fucked up and a world tour in its bones.

Vocals: single tracked with an sm7b

I completely gave up on quad-tracking.
IMHO you can get a wonderfull and heavy guitar sound with just 2 tight takes hard panned.

Andy sneaps mix for despiced icon was a real eye-opener for me.
One of the most evil guitar tones with dualtracking

Mr. Gay

I know what you mean. The guys realy have this brutality like the old Hatebreed. They released two full length in the past but only in spanish.
I think with this english release they realy can make the step up to the american hardcore bands.

They deserve it.

I think its unbelievable. A costa rica´n band touring the world, recording their new ep in hamburg, germany. making the music video with the guys from ´ambitious.films (also from germany) who are making the music videos for terror, comeback kid .....

small world

I'm not huge on hardcore heavy stuff, but the mix is awesome.
One of the best I have heared from you so far!
Major kudos!

guitars sound great! loving the kick drum, the only thing I dislike are the gangshouts, I think
a bit more highs would have helped, they sound a bit muffeld, but that's just my opinion ;)
Great Job!
