i mean, how embarrassing is that? suicide vs. performance art. i mean maybe they're the sameafter all, in a philosophical sense.... but someone could have asked around or checked a pulse for crying out loud.

Yeah, that part was left out (the falling person).

Cripes that's sick- that something like that could even happen I mean, where a suicide is mistaken for anything else.

Not to mention the sound. A dude jumped off a parking ramp and landed next to my car a few years back. It sounded like a fricken car accident. I looked around to see where the accident was and saw this guy laying on the sidewalk. Disturbing, very disturbing. And to make matters worse, I had "South of Heaven" cranked.

I just can't see how something like that could be mistaken for anything other than it really is.

i mean, suicide is a form of performance and i won't deny it. but it's not THAT which i am questioning. like chupe said, it's like, people are so detached that they can't even discern a dead body next to them? i mean, i think i would just sense it.

also, as an addition: another reason i dont call myself an 'artist' is because i'm not one.
