ONE YEAR Anniversary of TOTT...

Yeah, it will be one year tomorrow. I cant believe a whole year has passed already! I had a blast out in San Francisco last year, not just the show but going to Alcatraz was killer! I had wanted to go there ever since I was a kid.
Yeah too bad about SADUS and FORBIDDEN. Yeah VIOLENCE has gotten together, but until they tour it doesnt do me any good, same with EXODUS.

EXODUS does plan a tour before the end of the year, & then when the new album is done, look for a world wide tour, done in segments, between, Europe, U.S., & Japan. I do not think that the tours will be that long, due to Zetro's job. But 2 or 3 week legs..........................................................................................

Check out EXODUS.COM, for some European tour dates already comfirmed, this will be before there new album comes out. Their sites pretty new, & still under construction, but it has alot of info., & some merch., already.
And as for VIO-LENCE, since TOTT, they have played a show in S.F. at slims, thats in the works for a live DVD. And then they played Hollywood, & most recently, The Milwaukee Metal Festival. I made it to all their shows, so hang in there, I'm sure so more shows will pop up. Check out VIO-LENCE.COM for all new updates, Merch., & their re-lease of Eternal Nightmare, & upcoming DVD.
As for SADUS, they will probably play again, & work on a new album after the new TESTAMENT album & tour is finished, but anything can happen, if they get offered the right show.
As for FORBIDDEN, as with TOTT, they are the hardest group out of the bunch, to get together. Man Made God is Craig's & Steve's current enterprise, Russ is involved with a band also. Glen's working on his project, & Tim's up in Seattle, so as you can see, FORBIDDEN, unfortunately is divided up in pieces, & only time will
tell, but at some point, I hope they realize that FORBIDDEN is bigger & bader than all those bands combined. thats what people want to see. Just like people are packing the venue's that DEATH ANGEL play, while their current band SWARM, does not draw half as much attention. DEATH ANGEL does have a new live DVD in the works, thats a good first step. Am I right? Everyone wants the old school bands, to play, tour & put out some new material. EXODUS is showing the way, Zetro dropped F-BOMB, Gary & Rick are focused, they're playing shows, booking small tours, & writing the new album. And there's a buzz, the other Bay Area bands should take note..........................................................................

I cant believe it's been a year!!

What the heck is going on with the DVD? Walter, I believe was saying a DVD was going to come out and the whole forum and domain fell apart.

Since the domain was left unclaimed, I decided to purchase it and have it backed up with professional hosting and lots of storage.

Exodus.com is not comming up. It seems .net is owned by the same people as well and there isnt any music relations on it.

This is awsome that these bands are getting back. Hopefully we will see a whole new wave of Thrash tours all over the country.

Can anyone guess the intro song that is on the new TOTT site?

The reason we shut it down was due to some people harrassing,
& posting lies, to bad because I used to really like posting & answering questions, & interacting with others interested in the same music. Good luck with your site, will check it out, hope you have no problems I had.................................................

Greatest thrash show of all time,
my ears are still ringing!!

I'll never forget it, and what a treat
to finally see all the bands I listened
to growing up -- but let's not forget it was all for
the superb cause of helping
the two Chucks,
not to mention Chuck Billy voluntarily
donating a large sum to Chuck Schuldiner's cause. That is a
one huge act of metal brotherhood
which makes me proud to have been in the audience.

And look what ensued afterwards --

Billy Milano funnier than shit...
Vio-Lence back together...
Death Angel re-united...
Dark Angel rehearsing...
Exodus working on a new album...

Forbidden - when???

In and of itself it was the single best event I'll ever attend, but it's even better knowing I've been able to see some of these bands restart in its wake.

I've seen Exodus nearly every show since (save for Wacken), Death Angel, Anthrax at New York Steel, Vio-lence.

Having pissed away the best metal years in the Army, I never got to see Forbidden until TOTT, my all time favorite band. A tear came to my eye when they came on. That alone was what made TOTT the best.

We'll get DL, Testament and Exodus this year (maybe next...)
-- here's to another year of good metal. :headbang:
