Well that sucks. I think he had a valid reason for quitting though and I wish him luck.

I was just about to post this.

I only just woke up after taking a nap (I've been trying to sleep off sickness) and I get downstairs, eat dinner and my girlfriend just casuaully goes "Oh yeah, Steve quit Onslaught by the way". It's a fucking good job I was sat down at the time or I'd've hit the fucking deck. I seriously can't express how shocked I am.

Alan Jordan - the band's guitarist from 2005-08 - has posted a comment on said Blabbermouth article which seems to have stirred up a bit of negativity and finger-pointing.I had a chat with Nige and he said a statement will be made by the band shortly.
