Ok, so sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but people put artwork and videos and shit in here all the time, so I'm gonna put this up. It's a poem I wrote that "borrows" lines from Den Ständiga Resan and Mordet i Grottan, so yeah, I know that's just an Opeth cover and an MÅ sideproject, but damn it! Mike needs to sing in Swedish more often. But anyway, here's the poem:

Svensk Klaga

"Då vänder sej vinden sakta mot norr,
Och blommorna dör,
Det faller regn i mina drömmar."

And when I close the nocturnal door,
I find myself lonely once more,
And everyone seems so far.

All these feelings I still feel,
I visited our favorite place today,
But alas, all of this is moot.

"Kastar mörker över vår idyll,"
"[Mina] själ vandrar vidare,"
"Dagen har lidit mot sitt slut."

(1st stanza copyright Marie Fredriksson - "Den Ständiga Resan"
4th stanza copyright Mikael Åkerfeldt & Dan Swanö AKA Sörskogen - "Mordet i Grottan")

no, its a bilingual poem. the translation is roughly:

"When the wind is slowly turning to the north,
And the flowers die,
There is rain falling in my dreams."

And when I close the nocturnal door,
I find myself lonely once more,
And everyone seems so far.

All these feelings I still feel,
I visited our favorite place today,
But alas, all of this is moot.

"Throw the darkness over our idyllic place,"
"[My] soul wanders further,"
"The day is soon to end."
